RISK MATRIX & PRE-CHECK LIST FOR CONTINUOUS RISK ASSESSMENT

Continuous Risk assessment or the Pre-Work check list

Likelihood:

The possibility of something happening is the likelihood of it occurring.

Consequence:

It is a result or impact, usually undesirable or unpleasant.

Matrix of risk:

A risk matrix is a matrix used in risk assessment to describe the amount of risk by weighing the likelihood against the severity of the consequences. This is a basic approach for increasing risk visibility and assisting management decision making.

·    Continuous risk Assessment are carried out on a daily basis at the start of every shift to identify possible hazards and risks and to deal with these prior to the commencement of tasks and thereafter on an on-going basis during the shift
