 Definition of a Hazard:

WHAT IS A HAZARD?

• A hazard is anything with a potential to cause harm to persons or damage to equipment and

the environment or a combination of these,

OR

• A hazard is a source, situation or act which can cause harm or loss (OHSAS 18001)
